FAQ's

Sponsorship Aggregation Model (SAM)

1. What is a tank anyway?

Tanks are comprised of like-minded, innovative, and mission-focused ventures that are making a positive impact upon society. Your organization can be there with users as they explore ideas, research content and interact.

2. How are the tanks categorized?

Like-minded entities can be aggregated into the following Tank categories:
a.    Environmental/Green Initiatives
b.    Social Enterprise Ventures
c.    Social Media Ventures
d.    Youth Community Programs
e.    Non-Profit Organizations

3. How does it work?

The tanks are connected to complimentary sponsors, who purchase web-banners across the entire “tank” of entities. Participating entities/partners provide compliance with integrating standard web-banners across their site.

4. What kind of banners would the sponsors provide and what are the obligations of the participating entities?

The non-animated banners would consist of only our sponsor(s) logo or graphic element, and participating entities would be able to view the banners in advance. The participating entity would guarantee to The Blink Tank Sponsor Network a total of no more than 8 (eight) 150X80 graphic placements on every web page of its website everyday of each month throughout the term of the agreement.

5. Who are the targeted sponsors?

It's our responsibility to match the appropriate sponsor for our partners. The Blink Tank will work closely with our partners to identify complimentary sponsors, as well as conduct research to guide that process.

6. How is the revenue collected and what percentage does The Blink Tank keep?

We collect a monthly fee per sponsor for each "Tank" comprised of relevant brands or entities whose aggregate impressions total a minimum of 300,000 impressions per month. The Blink Tank retains 25% of the sponsorship fee for our services.

7. How do the participating entities get paid and how are they paid?

The participating entities will receive a percentage of the remaining fee collected based upon verifiable monthly accounting of the total number of monthly impressions the entity website received each month throughout the term of this agreement. The sponsorship net revenue is pro-rated to each participating entity based upon its verifiable monthly page views compared with the total verifiable page views of the thematic tank. (i.e. if entity A received 65% of the total impressions in a thematic tank, entity A would be paid 65% of the total net-sponsorship fee collected for the tank)

8. How often and when do the participating entities get paid?

The Blink Tank distributes the pro-rated percentage revenue monthly no later than the 15th day of each month following the sponsor exposure.

9. How long is the term of the agreement between the participating entity and The Blink Tank?

The term of the agreement between the participating entity and The Blink Tank is for twelve (12) consecutive months.

10. Can a participating entity opt-out of an agreement?

A participating entity can opt-out of an agreement with a 90-day prior written notice.
